The Crown: Our Absolute, Our Sanctity - [Part 8]

Lastly we descend upon the crown chakra, although remember that this by no means concludes our spiritual form. However, continuing layers are even more subtle in nature, and for the sake of what appears to be more relevant in this dimensional space, we will stick with the more familiar scale of spiritual maturation.

In this area, we are accessing a transcendental state of being, a place of divine wisdom and comprehension, and a very high degree of Order. People have many different interpretations of who or what ‘God’ is. There are even those who claim he does not exist. Aside from religious constructs of what ‘God’ may or may not be, most humans have a sense of divine intervention in their lives. We are aware that this god-like force is alive within us and connects us to a greater Source of Life. This relation to a higher being can very much determine how we operate. We integrate this spiritual inspiration into how we manage our lives and use it as a tool to better Know ourSelves. As we pull from this Higher Consciousness, we can further recognize and appreciate what it means too be a spiritual being experiencing a human existence. Drawing from these spiritual affinities allows us to cultivate a comfortable atmosphere for ourselves as we traverse this plane. We can thoughtfully live with divine purpose. We can reside more synchronically within our mind/body/soul unit. We are co-creative life forces participating in an Ultimate Presence. We are a part of what that god-like spirit embodies. All moments contain sacred space. We revere All that Is. Every pixeled fragment that has ever been Realized has marked its time. All beings are intricately weaved into the fabrics of life. As we embrace our soulful essence, there is a confidence and sturdiness that is brought about. We can seek unity of all aspects of Self and discern that space as our Song.

Our bodies’ relation to chronological time is only an illusion, one our spirits are tasked with revealing. Living presently doesn’t demand that we forget. It is necessary for people to experience relief from psychological discord, and this requires a one to undergo a process of letting go. However, we carry forward with the experience, with loving detachment. I think it’s important to be able to connect back to any of those past parts of yourSelf, but it is unnatural to our divine design to let our thoughts live too long in the yesterdays. The spiritual guidance we receive each day will not be properly understood should we continue feeding our power to the past. Occupying the moment in full will also allow us to better decipher earlier experiences. Our spirits receive inspiration as we are drawn to sacred truths within ourselves and our surroundings. We thrive, and heal, in ecstatic moments, when our spirits become stronger than our bodies and our reality responds to the command of the spirit. With maturity comes a higher sense of the content of our authenticity. We can respond to our intuition and interpret our experiences symbolically. Within, we are all woven from the same cloth, and the spiritual challenges we face, though they vary, are not so different from one another. Our external diversities are rather false in appearance, only physical props of sorts.

Transitions and changes can be somewhat intimidating at times. I think there are forces within ourselves that opt to take charge and direct accordingly. I think there are also circumstances that arise that seem outside of our plan or influenced by another, perhaps seemingly more environmental or fated in nature; yet consider the core of yourself which supersedes this particular life, your Higher Self, if you will. Ponder the experiences that have shaped you: the periods of growth, the lessons learned, the themes consistently present. While many of these events and stages of life have probably exhibited their fair share of heartache, grief, anger, or frustration, it was your divine mind that desired it to be so. We are molded with intention. Sometimes what seems utterly debilitating is purposed for a greater good. I encourage you to take note of what is being developed at this time in your life- to listen in and take comfort in your raw being and what is being communicated from that soulful essence. Don’t be afraid to expose yourself. We are constantly sculpting our subjective world subliminally and consciously. The process is a beautiful one, regardless of how chaotic it can be at times. When we take out the notion that something is ‘good’ or ‘bad’, ‘positive’ or ‘negative’, we can see things As They Are and assess how these experiences are of value. We are either the victim or the perpetrator, or more than likely, both.

Your Soul, this Universal Entity, is so much more involved in Eyeing the Bigger Picture. It is a privilege to open ourselves more and more to this Higher Stream of Self so that we can live with drive and a fullness and quality of potential. Sometimes it is difficult to examine ourselves objectively. Of course we are biased in perception and sensing. Nevertheless, we can surrender to divine will and inhabit Faith and a Knowing that meaning will be derived from all situations. We are here to seize and fuel the greater Force of Life and our creative expression of that as a human being. We are dealing with a reality of simulated distortions. We are faced with images and impressions that draw us in, repel, and invoke reactions. They connect us. They isolate us. Still, in the end, our spiritual body is safe. We are temporary in our state of current developmental Being. Everything You Are supersedes any timeline of perceived comprehension; we are everywhere and everything already. Work towards becoming One within all facets of yourself and you will continue seeping into Oneness with All. Flourish in your flurry, my friends. You are Beloved.

The Third Eye: Our Instincts, Our View - [Part 7]

As we travel up the chakra column, we unmask more of what our bioluminescent being has to offer. That is, the maturity of our soul reveals itself more through these higher centers. Over time, we begin exploring our reality from a more advanced standpoint. We more readily open ourselves to the compounded forms of one’s being and our attachment to such. Within the third eye center, embodiments of Self often fade as we come to deeper understandings of our spiritual roots. There remains less concern for the material world and a greater emphasis on internalized projection of divine nature. There is always an unraveling that must occur. I think this takes place continually throughout life- a sense of being reborn in every new moment. Although our physical bodies gradually age, our conscious abilities progressively grow. We are consistently dying to old parts of ourSelves and reintroducing our minds to that which they inherently know. Each instant is a new life.

Accumulated experience will allow each of us to better utilize insight and discernment as we go forward in life. We can use these tools to better guide behavior and perceptions. We can also use that clarity of mind to help prepare our form for changes to come. Within this center, we are grasping an alternate, more abstract sense of self. I think we come to recognize and more thoroughly Know this soulful essence of our being over the stretch of a lifetime. This more connected presence can be used as a means of invigoration, especially in moments of healing. Our intuition locks us into greater unison with divine will. One can look here to find peace of mind when our anxieties seem overwhelming. Remember that silence is golden.

Within this range, our capacity to visualize and fathom concepts on a broader scale is also contained. As we focus on our intentions, we can further envelope those feelings and relay them through imagery and artistic awareness. The potential of the imagination is infinite. Any sensory platform can be used to embody an objective. The deeper we are rooted in who we are and what that means, the higher the possibility of aligning ourselves with an influential walk of life. Sight can be set with purpose. We can live our manifested visions as we project all we See ourselves to Be. We can aspire to be in constant expansion towards a more ideal version of ourselves- and thus, our lives will be mirrored back to us in echo. A strong third eye supports concentration on what holds importance and value.

The third eye personifies celestial love and our relation to other living beings, the environment, and the cosmos. There is a spiritual ecstasy that accompanies universal love. This space exemplifies connection and unifying principles of Oneness.

Our spirit is always sweetly pushing us to seek the Truth and evaluate the integrity/maturity of our beliefs. She encourages us to let go of perceptions that are limiting. We are here to be of service to others by reflecting sacred energy and contributing to others’ lives in a worthwhile manner. Divine wisdom helps us learn to balance reason and judgment and make decisions that create the best consequences for ourselves and for those with whom we interact. We can inspire each other to transcend distortions of human thought and reach towards more advanced habits and patterns. Spiritual understanding incites a mental transparency that drives divine reasoning to merge with our own thought processes. We may not always know why things happen in terms of human interpretation, but there is a genuine collectedness that can be achieved when we embrace omniscient presence and release ties to the ego.

Perhaps instead of resolving to be ‘happy’, we should set intentions of higher awareness so that we may find meaning in this symbolic dance. As we sift through this existence, we may not always encounter circumstances that induce feelings of elation. I think it is important that we recognize our lessons and how we are involved in the lessons of others. Our souls graciously play roles so as to bring forth an experience for those within our collective consciousness. There are eras that require a purging of the restless and troubled perceptions of those on living here on earth. I believe the collective mind of humanity has been in the midst of this repression for quite some time now. However, I believe more recent years have brought about a shift in this energy. This changeover is transpiring cosmically and daily as we unearth that which registers in discord. I think the subconscious mind may appear more intimidating than it should. Darkened rooms are only frightening until painted in light. I think some people fear the healing process because of the assumed destabilizing effect it can have. We grow accustomed to feeding into the past and its present effect. Now of course these actions of development are not generally easy, but we can be assured in our spirits inclination to amend and hopeful in the reorganization of our being. We creatively evolve. As we are patient through strife, so we are strengthened. ‘Unraveling’ can be uncomfortable. It can be messy, and it can be disruptive. Let us be gentle and forgiving with ourselves as we ride the waves.

The Throat: Our Voice, Our Yielding - [Part 6]

In a broad sense, the throat chakra revolves around expression. There are many different forms of communication, but much of what is conveyed is not so bluntly picked up on. We reveal ourselves simply with presence. Our biofields are perpetually interacting with others’ auric bodies, although most of this is occurring on a subconscious level. Undoubtedly, our intuition will guide us as we navigate our surroundings. We must keep this in mind as we attempt to interpret our own perceptions. Instinctive ‘feelings’ can sweep over and signal us of perhaps an intention or manner of character. Nonetheless, this can be misleading if, for instance, our veil of viewpoint is skewed by our own ego. Sometimes we are lead by false pretenses, and sometimes what we See may be swayed by our own mental and emotional capacities. It is helpful to be as self-aware as possible so that we may better decipher our reality. When we operate outside of our personal truth, we unknowingly still exude a persona of falsity. Certain people may be more in tune with this discernment than others; however, we are all capable of listening with sensible composure. As one practices the art of existing in clear-headed space and acting from within his or her divine form, the individual will relay with more confidence and observe with an open mind. The stronger we stand within ourselves, the more effectively we project our motives and purpose. Sincerity is key. I think we are often taught to put on a façade so as to act according to social standards and norms. I believe this disingenuous attitude will ultimately isolate us. I think we owe it to each other to maneuver our space in a raw manner. We are here to be both teachers and learners, and our relationships should encompass a shared spirit of respect despite how difficult honesty can be at times. Notice whether or not you are resonating with your particular modes of being and doing and then ask yourself what that is imparting on your environment. Consider how you could rearrange various habits that may not be favorable for yourself and/or others.

Self-expression thrives as one discovers his or herself and radiates what comes naturally. We can embrace inspiration of mind and spirit towards that which drives us. We can search for truth amidst the layers and complexities. What you think and how you feel affects you on all levels of your being and spurs the climate of your vicinity and the mood of others. We must speak in ways that do not harm others, and we must be cautious in criticism or judgment. Lying is a violation of both the body and the spirit. It is against our natural disposition to distort truth. I think, too, our scrutiny of others tends to originate in insecurities within ourselves. When these anxieties of comparison or self-doubt manifest, it is easier to consider ill of another. We must concentrate on adjusting our own outlooks and management of self so that we may assist and encourage others as they work out their own kinks. This requires consistent redirection of energy towards progressive actions and behaviors. If we cannot release ourselves from the burden of guilt-induced emotion, we create negative consequences both in the body and in our external setting. The throat chakra carries information concerning your sense of self within society. We have a responsibility to our community to contribute in a positive fashion.

The throat center is just as focused on receiving information as it is giving. It is imperative that we find this mutual balance in our exchanges with one another. I think when we assimilate others’ messages with a conscious mind, it allows us to concurrently know ourselves better. I think one’s ability to comprehend material is fastened to one’s ability to exercise objective attentiveness and sensitivity. A state of empathy is an inclination more for some than others. It is not uncommon for one to undergo health problems in the throat region due to an inability to accept or comprehend specific circumstances or notions.

This chakra also acts as a zone for awareness and for our desire to make contact with the divine plan of our life. Choices must often be made, in faith and trust, that allow divine authority to enter our lives and reorder our struggles into successes and our wounds into strengths. It is important that we relinquish our spirit from the authority of the physical world and instead seek spiritual directive. Consciousness involves being aware of the movement of your spirit. This calls for a meshing of the aspirations of the heart and mind. We must regain an element of control over every place our spirit has been unconsciously plugged into. It is easy to conduct ourselves from a surface plane of Self, but all motions should necessitate our full awareness and agreement. Sometimes we may need to retrieve our spirit from the ‘negative missions’ we may have sent it on. It may be that a present course of action merely needs to be reoriented. Remember that we also have jurisdiction over past versions of Self, and we do have the power to influence the kind of energy that composites previous experience. Accessing these moments will be a meditative undertaking that implies a reorganization of perspective. We are capable of this rewiring. As we surrender to the break down of Self, we allow our divine form to bleed through and have a more dominant role in our life.

The Heart: Our Tenderness, Our Enchantment - [Part 5]

The electrical wave produced by a beating heart has about fifty times the amplitude and about a thousand times the strength of a brain wave; the heart is said to have a nervous system all of its own. As we explore the boundaries, expanses, and degrees of love, we become a channel for that which we are able to nurture within ourselves. We become aware of how we manage feelings of affection, attachment, desire, change, and loss. We find our ‘treasures’ in life, what it is that we hold dear, and pour our heart and energy into nourishing those values. We can feed into the richness of each successive moment as we open ourselves to love in its raw entirety. There is an inner solace that arises as we fuel our being with personal presence and that which spiritually awakens us. We can look towards renewal of spirit through transformative experiences. Think about the love that you have developed for yourself and in what ways you express that. Are you giving yourself adequate amounts of self-compassion, and are you furthering this quality by a means of empathy towards others? It is necessary that we See others through a veil of understanding and appreciation. It is also meaningful to focus on bringing all inner portions and forces towards a more congruent accordance. In that state of coherence, we are more abled, more conscious, and more responsive. In accessing the heart’s power, we can tap into a core that is capable of centering, stabilizing, and otherwise heavily influencing many psychoactive functions and physical measures.

One of the strongest poisons to the human spirit is the inability to forgive one’s self or another. We must refine our capacity to love others as well as ourselves. We must commit to attending consciously to our own emotional needs, in order to be able to love and accept others unconditionally. In its essence, love is authentic. We are, by nature, compassionate beings who thrive in an atmosphere of harmony and tranquility. When emptied of these elements, we create an empty life. Indeed, as we gain a sense of what love entails, we are not always welcomed by it’s positive attributes. Many people have come to know very distorted views of love or models of apathy or neglect. Even as we greet love in its highest state, we too will cross the paths of sorrow, unkindness, and distress at times. We are not immune to grief and spaces of hopelessness, but we can delight in the ever-changing waves of existence as we hold to our faith and aspire to recognize new planes of devotion, and passion. We are only ‘harmed’ by others if we survey situations through the lens of human justice. People are often appropriately placed in our lives to bring about an essential experience. We must mobilize ourselves in acts of acknowledgement and grace so that we may be a healing presence for ourselves and for others. Here we can blossom with those parts of Self that have been broken and hurt and embrace revival.

The heart is apt to enter a state of conflict when one feels overwhelmed, attacked, or has suffered a great loss. Stress overloads may trigger such a condition. We must not forget that this is also a center connected to a channel of direct respiration. Undoubtedly, the whole of our system is in constant motions of breathing, but the lungs are absolutely vital to our body’s survival. Hence, moments that incite a fright of sorts may affect the functionality of the lungs. Territorial fears, scares, or panic in relation to lack of air may also cause a shock to the body.

The Solar Plexus: Our Endowments, Our Uniqueness - [Part 4]

The solar plexus can truly be described as a ‘power center’. It is space entrenched in themes linked to one’s interpretation of the Self and associated identities. This connects to the value we hold within ourselves, in honor of ourselves. We recognize our individual sacred contribution to this particular time and dimensionality. Those seeking to bloom and intentionally thrive within a life cycle develop qualities that are satisfying, enriching, and motivating. This range relates to one’s confidence in having come closer to a state of Truth and how we endure modes of personal transformation. This means reassessing ideas and notions tied to earlier points of thinking and progressing in manner of thought. It is not always necessary that we hold on to what has been presented before us, in terms of information, doctrines, customs, and other cultural norms. Once we have reevaluated what resonates and what is incongruous, we become a firmer representation of ourselves. We carry those weaker points of Self with regard and gratitude and pursue a greater balance. We utilize our fortitudes as a means of metamorphosing shortcomings. We allow ourselves necessary self-compassion as we encounter our more fragile and vulnerable states of mind. It is constructive to visualize how one would function in his or her ideal frame of being and note sources of how that transpires. All humans battle with impressions of inadequacy. I think some of the biggest struggles people face are feeling unlovable, undeserving, or less than. I think accepting yourself and others fully and without conditions can be challenging. And while I don’t believe this grants us permission to not hold ourselves to a certain standard, I do believe we are called to be kind as we observe those journeying along their own path. When we develop our own personal honor code, one that resides in union with nature, we can unchain from the authority others may hold over us. As we learn to trust our gut instincts, we endorse intuition as a guide and no longer need to operate with a tribal or ego-driven mind. This innate discernment will serve you well in providing you with a sense of protection that supersedes the conscious mind.

Uncovering our inner strength and refocusing our power indubitably influences disciplines of self-control and responsibility. In doing so, we are able to direct with brighter purpose and make decisions that are in the interest of our highest potential. This filters into realms of self-care and how we manage our health. We cannot always control our surroundings, but people can choose to be on the receiving end of many specific stimuli (food, settings, people, etcetera).

We are going to confront rejection and, at times, we will fail to meet expectations. We are not going to meet everyone’s approval. However, we can fixate our gaze on personal empowerment as we navigate levels of self-fulfillment. We can accept responsibility for the quality of person we become and how much meaning we derive from life. We can view ourselves with gentle and gracious eyes so that we are not our own hindrance. We can feed our system with positive self-talk and exercise patience as we inevitably ‘fall short’. I think it is important that we feel connected in our space within the universe as we come to know our Place and orient towards tasks that fit our character. What radiates out starts first from within, and so we must acknowledge how that energetic imprint is playing out and whether or not it is progressive for all parties.

Because the digestive system is one of the main organ systems governed by the solar plexus chakra, the psychosomatic correlations tend to pertain to one’s ability to process or metabolize a ‘morsel’ of sorts. For example, this morsel may be a piece of information, a situation, or an actual food component that could not be absorbed. Other conflicts linked with the liver, gall bladder, and pancreas may also fall under umbrellas of fear, disgust, resistance, territorial anger, identity, or starvation. I would like to remind you that these relations may be either literal or figurative in nature and are not bound to one location in the body based on their characteristics. Trauma takes residence in the site most relevant to the individual. Additionally, there are many layers of tissue (i.e. muscle, bone, and skin), lymph, and blood vessels that cover the span of the body and thus certain zones may fall prey to physical disturbance over others. A general temperament that affects the whole of one’s being may be more imprecise in effect.

Remember too, that laughter is a lovely medicine for this center; and of course, this act is restorative in a broader sense as well.

The Sacral: Our Sensuality, Our Artistry - [Part 3]

Our form contains many distinguishable layers, not only within the chakra system but extending out from our core. It seems to be a consensus that these spaces alternate in complexion. For example, the first, third, fifth, and seventh chakras correspond by having a slightly more rigid constitution. This is noticeable in appearance as well as in the spiritual material and psychological data encapsulated. There is a higher level of structure and a greater gathering of yang energy. For these reasons, these zones also seem to be more akin to the realm of thinking as opposed to emotion.

The second center, alongside the fourth and sixth centers, resides in spheres of feeling. These spaces are often inflamed with varieties of color and fluid in their makeup. This soft and flexible area moves in response to ongoing sensory perceptions of our inner and outer worlds. The sacral chakra is one of comfort, pleasure, and creativity. Indeed, this is a space ripe with hormones and sexual drive seeing as it manages the status of the reproductive organs within the pelvic region. This center is open and malleable to the influences of emotion. It is passionate and imaginative. Here we also find a resounding innocence stemming from child-like aspects of our being. For example, humans may demonstrate playfulness and youthfulness regardless of age. We expose ourselves to the expanses, knowledge, and understanding of experience in a very raw manner. We utilize our visionary instinct and inspiration as we build and shape our reality, both tangibly and spiritually. It is meaningful to examine how we are carving ourselves and if we are allotting enough time to flourish. Can we habitually tap in to points of unity and ease within the inner chambers of our mind and soul?

As we progress through stages of developing an identity, we begin slowly disengaging from the dependencies of being an infant and verge upon autonomy. Children form strong connections first to those within proximal range, namely parents and close family and friends. Eventually one’s circle of fashioned relationships broadens to include those outside the immediate clan. The sacral center focuses on the idea of honoring other forms of life. Naturally, this sense of respect and recognition stretches to encompass all existing life; although I believe there is a special emphasis on fostering deep alliances that spur our growth and feed our spirit. Each person with whom we share a union is part of our lives by divine design, and we are given the power to act with integrity within these relationships. Both enriching and painful qualities are necessary as we are placed in assorted roles and undergo the dynamics of each occurrence. Every person in your life plays a part needed for the betterment of the Self, whether we are the sufferer or wrongdoer. We attract relationships that help us come to know ourselves. We can learn to interact consciously with others by cultivating those connections that support progression and release those that handicap the enhancement of wellbeing. Within this space, we unearth the reflections of our being in the imagery of others. We turn selfishness into encouragement and judgment into compassion.

Trauma associated with this chakra recurrently deals with procreative or sexual conflicts or struggles concerning gender identity, but it can also be linked to concepts of loss, betrayal, and addiction. Remember that many dependencies form from mental and emotional injuries, which are often inflicted by other human beings. Unfortunately, we do not always treat others ethically. I think it is common for people to find themselves being controlled or manipulated by various individuals in their lives. This ultimately leads to a draining of power and a severance from ourSelf. Sometimes the role played is submissive and sometimes we are unaware of the restraint put on us by those around. I see many who have endured devaluative hardships in the past and now consequently protect their ego by weakening others. It is crucial to release harbored feelings from previous situations that have negatively impacted us or we are likely to continue this cycle of irreverence.

The Root: Our Footing, Our Animality - [Part 2]

As I mentioned before, we begin life with an emphasis on the root chakra. Not only does this space hold primitive and innate qualities, but it is particularly fitting for feeding energy emanated from the earth into our system. Because humans are of a form based on the elements and vibratory constitutions of the earth, we rely heavily on direct connection to this planet. The earth contains a biofield of its own, which permeates from the core of it’s structure out into the encircling atmosphere. The solar system, too, functions as a whole being with smaller components of life bolstering and maintaining a regularity of health. This pattern extends into the greater expansions of our universe and is equally expressed in the smallest particle of life. Without this energetic nourishment, we lose our ability to function optimally and may suffer a lapse in vigor. To ‘ground oneself’ is to meld with and link into earth’s natural distribution of power bound to the Oneness of its spirit. We often find an easement of mind and relieved tension when we connect to this wonder that is home. Although humans are continually in contact, even indirectly so, with the surface of the earth, the idea of grounding is more intentional and personal. It is a meditative time of slowing and restabilizing the Self. Of course, this is best achieved when we can directly touch the ground or be in the vicinity of other sources of life. Here we are ‘rooting’ and deriving energy from the environment in order to strengthen and steady ourselves. This exchange is beneficial in helping to clear out aggregations of stress or constrictions of energy.

Furthermore, food is critical to survival and allows for sustainability in our daily lives. Implementing a diet that supplies necessary levels of nutrition also contributes to heightened functionality and a more centered state of being. Noticing whether or not you are balanced in your intake of vitamins and minerals is a valuable practice; however, I think it is just as appropriate to yield a life that is broad and diverse in nature. We ‘soak in’ just as much from the atmosphere of our current space. I think this can be persuaded by the types of people we surround ourselves with as well as the activities we choose to engage in. Objects and structures, too, hold energies that can be bound to previous owners or incidents that took place and of this we must be observant.

So here, as we stimulate this lower center, we are finding and residing with comfort and security. We can look towards a focus on restoration as we cultivate periods of mindfulness in regards to this nurturing stemming from both the cosmos and our terrestrial plane. We are rejuvenated through rays of sun, refreshed through water and oxygen, revived through the palate, and often renewed through the presence of other living beings.

On a basic level, we depend on cycles of sustenance and hydration so that our bodies may be well equipped to operate effectively. We find assurance in the support and protection of our ‘tribe’ or community and confidence in judicial laws that seek to maintain fairness and honor truth. In today’s day and age, fundamentals of survival can also be related to jobs and correlated influx of money and means of shelter. Whether or not we are able to provide for ourselves and/or others within our circle can determine how firmly established we feel in our environment.

Our first encounter with this sense of connection and stability typically originates within our immediate familial setting. The scene that is setup here and what is brought about and experienced over the course of our childhood can be especially indicative of how we handle and interpret our reality later on in adulthood. This is inclusive of dealings with relationships, personal conduct, attitudes, beliefs, motivations, dependencies, and temperaments, amongst other developmental attributes. We initially cling to what has been presented before us culturally. Here we form an identity in relation to the group(s) we are a part of. We discover a sense of belonging and are impressed with ideas of bonding and attachment as a member of a collective. This association to a unified entity that emerges from such can be furthered as we continue growing and become more entangled in the greater conscious web that we are a component of.

As I have stated before, the nature of the root center favors these types of concepts but is certainly not limited to them nor is it fixated on these notions. For instance, points of blockage may occur due to feelings of abandonment, loss of order, or confronting threats to physical longevity; however, different people will cope with these experiences in varying manners and may house these traumas in alternate parts of the body.

An Introduction - [Part 1]

I wanted to share a more in depth understanding of the chakra system and it’s interlinking with one’s biofield. This will be part 1, in a series of 8. We will delve further into the major energetic centers of our spiritual form and examine the psychological advancement that concurrently takes place starting from the moment of birth.

To preface, the human biofield interpenetrates the body while expanding beyond the physical form to the surrounding space of one’s being. This space is layered in vibrational patternings, geometrical figures, light, color, sequences, and matrices that contain information related to the health of the individual. Health, in this sense, can be described as the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual welfare of one’s being. It is a symphony of sorts that relies on communication of the full Self.

The human life process involves tiers of interpretation, reaction, manifestation, and reflection of both internal and environmental affairs. There is a high level of communication amongst these modes and pathways of the human form. Physiological changes, thoughts, emotions, memories, and a networking of subjective experiences are tied to and represented in the makeup of this space. Deeply rooted knowledge and realities stemming from this lifetime and other courses of life can also be held here. Conversely, shifts in the energetic field tend to affect physical and psychological wellbeing. The idea is to work with the psyche in conjunction with this web of biological homeodynamics so that a balance may be achieved. The auric field is composed of electric, magnetic, electromagnetic, thermal, and kinetic pulsations, amid other more subtle forces. Often referred to as the universal life force, ‘chi’ can be manipulated where there may be irregularity or blockage in flow. It has been observed for many years that accumulations of distorted energy can bring about tones of dissonance in the body. Similarly, lack of flow can reduce overall functioning of one or more parts of the mind-body-spirit complex. This complex is inclusive of psychological attributes, behaviors, tendencies, habits, personality characteristics, demeanor, mood, cognitive and emotional competency, and general response to stimuli, or situations, within one’s surroundings. Of course one’s physical condition and capabilities will echo the picture that is painted in our existence. Because we are breathing, moving, pulsing embodiments of our soul and it’s current interactive form, we hold significant influence over the scene in which we find ourselves and, subsequently, the greater collective consciousness of which we are a part of.

Most know the chakra system to contain seven energetic segments. While the human form primarily occupies these main divisions, higher, succeeding centers are said to be present beyond the familiar seven zones. These spaces are even more subtle in nature and connect to planes of existence much further displaced from our current reality. Layers of our biofield follow a similar arrangement, and too extend outside the major seven bands. Layers exist within each chakra as well, and may rotate independently of one another. That is to say, a center may have a more dominant clockwise or counterclockwise pull overall, but could be funneling energy from both directions simultaneously. A chakra with a stronger clockwise rotation will often be more open and interactive with the environment. Conversely, a chakra with a more prevalent counterclockwise spin is more internally focused. These revolutions and the structure they take on may regularly change throughout the day. A full-bodied, wide, circular motion signals proper flow while linear or elliptical movements may reveal a disturbance of some kind. The speed of the flux should additionally be considered. A slower drift illustrates a lethargic or depressed center whereas a quicker pace suggests liveliness and greater abundance in activity.

Comparable to the way the mind compiles and assembles information within certain regions of the brain, the chakra system is a grouping of awareness, insight, intelligence, judgment, learning, observation, and wisdom particular to each individual. As we mature biologically, we tend to encounter stages of occurrence relevant to our psychological state at given times throughout our life. Our more ‘primal’ and immediate connections, as well as survival instincts, will often arise first in our development. As we continue to age and cultivate our minds, we reach into deeper states of being and understanding and thus ideally further the maturation of power, strength, discernment, passion, and meaning within ourselves. We climb higher and nurture successive centers and layers of our form as we grow internally and conjointly with others. Keep in mind, experience will register within a certain domain based on how we are biasedly viewing our reality. So although each of these centers gravitates towards common concepts amongst people, individuals will house their knowledge and interpretation of affairs in a very personal manner. We are often consistent in where we carry our varying degrees of  ‘stress’. Physical symptoms that arise can be indicative as to how we are processing, or not adequately dealing with, everyday phenomenon.
